RACE DAY INFORMATION
Here you can find plenty of information for Race Day. If you have general questions please view our frequently asked questions page.
PARKING: Please follow signs to event parking at Selwood Academy, Berkley Road, Frome, BA11 2EF.
STARTING LINE/PENS: Unless there have been any changes following communication of the final pre-event information, there will be no event briefing on the day. Participants should read the communication thoroughly to familiarise themselves with the event details. Participants will start individually at 10-15 second intervals to maintain social distancing, with a recommended 15-minute arrival window allocated and communicated prior to the event. Participants from the same household/bubble will be permitted to start together (if participating in the same distance/category) and should follow the relevant instructions to arrive and/or start at the later of any times communicated (if different).
RACE START: Start Times: Between 8:00 - 9:45. Allocated with respect to distance and estimated finish time (prioritising longer distances/quicker times) and communicated prior to the event by email and/or SMS, these times may be subject to change.
ROUTE INFORMATION: All three races are well signed by marshals and are run on closed roads. You can view detailed route maps on the individual event pages.
FIRST AID: We have first aid points out around the courses and in the race village. Please alert a marshall if you or any other runner is having difficulties, our first aid providers will be mobile over the whole course.
FINISH: Once finished, participants should continue moving and follow signage and marshal directions to keep the area clear for other finishers. Any post-event rewards (medal, water etc.) will be self-service (following hand-sanitisation) to ensure there is no contact amongst staff and participants.
RACE NUMBERS AND TIMING CHIPS: Bib Numbers will be mailed to all participants that have entered by midnight on the Sunday prior to the event and have provided a valid UK address during registration. When a bib cannot be mailed due to an incomplete/invalid address - and in cases where it does not arrive - participants can collect a new/replacement bib at the event. Participants do not need to contact us with respect to non-receipt of their bib but should be prepared to show their booking confirmation on arrival if requested.
BAGGAGE: We provide a secure bag store which will be attended at all times by our volunteers. Items are left at your own risk.
TOILETS: Toilets will be available.
HEADPHONES: We discorage the use of headphones in while running around the course.
WATER: Water stations are provided at regular intervals across the three races and will be manned by volunteers.
RESULTS: Your results from the 2021 event will be available online on Sunday 18 July shortly after the race concludes. They will be emailed to you.
